| I got into Miniature Horse in 1995 with a
little horse named Dakota that I bought from Jodi Cook. A year later
I met Tom Perrigo. I brought Tom home to meet my parents and Dakota
and when he informed me that he loved me and loved my horses...that
was the start of our relationship! Tom and I were married in 1997
and began showing in the Northwest. About the same time all this
was going on my mother got involved with Miniatures too and in
recent years my father has also been "bitten by the bug" and enjoys
driving the horses.
Wild Rose Miniatures has a few foals born on the farm from time
to time but our main goal and experience is making a fine gelding
that is versatile in all walks of life. We are very active in local
4-H programs and shows within the community that involve Miniature
Horses.
History on the DH Brand: It was my grandfather's livestock brand
that my grandmother created. It was then passed down to my father
and then to me (Jennifer) who has taken it into our logo.
WE hope you enjoy our site. DH Wild Rose....Home of the Versatile
Geldings!
